ChaiMinar (Part 1)

Introduction:-

Myself Kavya, just another tiny little soul trying to make my presence in this huge world with my writings. Apart from writing, I also work with a small media company where we will be interviewing people who had excelled in their respective fields. With lot of difficulty, our company got a chance to interview “Mr. Mohammed Rizwan” who runs a cafe in Hyderabad. It is not a fancy cafe, but a 100-year-old family run cafe in Hyderabad. It was known for their biscuits range & variety of Tea. I was not overly excited in the beginning & felt it would be a regular interview. But it was not. It depicted how life circles back around. The journey into the lives of the Rizwan family revealed layers of struggle, triumph, and the enduring power of hope.

After completing the series of Interviews with him & his family members, I was wondering how things went in their life. Now that I got to know their story, I am thinking of different  ways to present the same to larger public. This is not a regular success story which we can straight away edit & air it. This story represents hope & proves that the world is not too big to find love. Thinking of the same, I was lying back on my terrace watching at the stars & clouds pass by. As am watching, I recalled an incident happened same evening, where I was walking down the streets and came across few children who were playing cricket under the streetlight. As they play, the ball hit one of the streetlights which is right in front of a church. The lights went off and they ran away from there in panic. As, I recall it now, a question struck my mind. Do God need light to see through the dark? If not, why did he allow this world to fill with lot of hatredness and judgement. Why was he unfair with few of his own people he created.

As I was thinking, I recall the conversation with one of the family members of Rizwan during the Interview. She mentioned that as a kid, she used to ask her brother about the stars and who put them up there and her brother replied that whenever a good person leave this world, God will place their souls as stars in the sky as token of appreciation, so that everyone can look after them. She believes that her late brother is watching her from the above. Recalling her works with a sarcastic smile on a face, I questioned the very creation of this world by the God. I felt pity for him as he is unaware of how greedy this world has become. The god is residing far away from the world and thinks he did a decent job in painting this universe, but he is unaware of the canvas he painted as it dried up its colors.

As I kept watching at the sky, I hated clouds, as they constantly obstruct me from watching the stars. Clouds are something that blinds the eyes of the God to see the hatredness around the world. Looks like the God need more stars to illuminate the sky, to let him see through the clouds. However, I do not think it going to happen anytime soon with the world we live in.

With these thoughts running in my head, I messaged my editor that we will present this interview as a mini documentary series titled “ChaiMinar, where Love meets reality.” A journey through time, through the lens of a family, a cafe, and the intertwining threads of hope and love.

What do you think, will light sparkle in this shadowy world? Join me on this journey as we unravel the layers of ChaiMinar, where every cup of tea tells a story, and where love meets the raw reality of life. Stay tuned for a tale that goes beyond the ordinary, reminding us that even in the darkest corners, there exists the potential for brilliance.
